 Meet Taylor

It is my mission to bring the best treatments in the industry to my clients. I am constantly seeking out further education and training to bring the PeeDee the best of Permanent Makeup. I’m also a little chatty, so hopefully you don’t mind getting to know me, because I love getting to know you! I strive to bring a level of comfort and reassurance to my clients that they chose an artist who genuinely cares about making them feel beautiful, special, and most of all confident. P.S. I love listening to Podcasts during the procedure and I’m always open to trying new ones, so bring your best suggestions or your fave music playlist so we can have a good time.

My Story

In 2018 my path greatly changed when I was diagnosed with Cushings Disease and underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor causing it. The surgery itself caused another disease, Adrenal Insufficiency. From that moment on, my life changed forever. I now live with a life threatening chronic, stress based illness. My past life was now a memory and I knew my path was going to change, I just had no idea which direction.

After having to medically withdrawal from The University of South Carolina, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I knew I needed a career that my schedule could be flexible, wasn't physically taxing on my body, and that was a low stress environment. While I had almost finished my degree, I just knew that my journey was meant to take a different turn. I wasn't the same girl anymore. When it was almost time for me to re-enroll in school, I  decided to get my eyebrows done. The artist who did them told me that I was very talented at makeup and that I should take her class to get certified to do permanent makeup. I'm not going to lie... I thought she was C R A Z Y. It was a lot of money and I had just become familiar with the service. She told me to think on it, and I did. A few weeks later I decided to take the leap. I took out a loan to pay for my class and thought to myself, "What do I have to lose?" after already losing so much. If I hated it, I would just go back to school and finish my degree.

That class changed my life FOREVER. I immediately fell in love with permanent makeup. I have always been an artist, and everything about permanent makeup satisfied my creative mind. I practiced every day, I took more trainings, I started booking clients, and somehow I went from a girl who had nothing to a girl who had built a successful business overnight.

Permanent Makeup is my one true love. I found my passion in life. Helping women find confidence is my ultimate goal in life after losing my hair, gaining weight, and suffering from other physical symptoms of Cushings Disease. The beauty industry helped me find my confidence again after my illness, and I am proud to now be a part of that same industry helping women love themselves again.

It has been a long journey to get where I am. A journey filled with sickness and loss, but I wouldn't change one part of it for anything. Every single thing I went through led me directly to my one true passion in this life.

Let me help you love yourself again.

xoxo,

Tay
